Objective

  • – To introduce sailing to kids and primary school students
  • – To build self-confidence, to promote teamwork and self-resilience

 

Entry Requirements:

  • – Able to swim at least 50 metres in tidal waters with the aid of a buoyancy vest
  • – 7 – 14 years old

 

Instructor To Sailor Ratio & Class Size:

  • – Instructor to sailor ratios is 1:6
  • – Minimum number of sailors per class is 6
  • – Maximum number of sailors per class is 12

Terms & Conditions:

1. ….. The above are based on a per participant per course enrollment package.
2. ….. Full payment must be made no later than fourteen (14) working days before the commencement of the programme.
3. ….. Confirmation of places will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and upon receipt of payment.
4. ….. All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
5. ….. The management reserves the right to make appropriate changes in its training course contents and schedule if it deems necessary.
6. ….. Participants with history of medical problems or are unsure of their current health condition should obtain medical clearance before joining any sea  sports activity.
7. ….. Participants shall adhere to the stipulated training rules and regulations and comply with the Rules & Regulations of P1 PowerBoats.
8. ….. All payments are to be made P1 PowerBoats Pte Ltd.
9. ….. P1 PowerBoats Management reserves the right to revise the rates and vary, delete or add to the terms and conditions at its own discretion without prior notice

 

Safety Measures:

1. ….. A safety boat will be on standby in the marina to be deployed for inclement weather.
2. ….. Sailboats will be equipped with complete equipment and basic first-aid kits.
3. ….. Weather check by Instructor is mandatory prior to going out to sea. Hourly weather checks are to be conducted by the Academy while the sailors are out on the waters. Instructor will be notified immediately in the event of impending inclement weather.
4. ….. Crew are on standby to assist with berthing to ensure fast recovery.
